Food Safety Training
If your agency is within the Municipality of Anchorage:
- Food Handlers Card – Online $10 certification through the Municipality of Anchorage.
- ServSafe – In person training required for agencies that prepares and serves food such as congregate meals; class is offered through Alaska CHARR.

Food Bank of Alaska Food Safety Certification - We offer a free online food safety training every second Tuesday of the month at 1pm.
Prefer to learn on your own time? Download our Food Safety Manual and take the online exam at your convenience.
If your organization has five or more people needing training, email programs@foodbankofalaska.org to schedule a group class—available online or in person.
