Food Safety Training
Has your food worker card or food safety certification expired? Here are some options for food safety training:
If your agency is within the Municipality of Anchorage:
- Food Handlers Card – Online $10 certification through the Municipality of Anchorage.
- ServSafe – In person training required for agencies that prepares and serves food such as congregate meals; class is offered through Alaska CHARR.
- Food Bank of Alaska Food Safety Certification – Free online webinar every second Tuesday of the month at 1pm, or review our Food Safety Manual and take the online exam here.
