Meals To You Summer Meals Program

Delivering Nutritious Meals to Rural Communities
Meals To You Alaska Summer Meals Program for Rural Alaska Kids
When school is out, many children lose access to the meals they rely on during the school year.

Meals To You provides weekly meal boxes during the summer to children who receive free or reduced-price meals during the school year. Each box includes shelf-stable, kid-friendly foods designed to support children's health and well-being while school cafeterias are closed.

Applications are now open through April 30.

Who Can Apply

Your household may qualify if:
  1. Student Enrollment: At least one child in the household must be enrolled in a participating school district.
  2. Income Eligibility: Children must qualify for free or reduced-price school meals, attend a CEP school, or complete an income eligibility form during the application.
  3. Rural Residency: Households must live in a USDA-designated rural area of Alaska during the summer.
