Where can I find food?
Food Bank of Alaska distributes food through a network of partner agencies. Use our Find Help tool to locate the nearest food pantry and check distribution schedules.
What are the requirements to receive food?

Each pantry has its own guidelines, but most do not require ID or proof of income. Contact your local pantry for details.

How do I apply for SNAP?

Our team can help you apply! Call (907) 222-3119 for assistance, or visit our SNAP page to check eligibility and start an application.

Where do I drop off food donations?

Non-perishable donations can be dropped off at 2192 Viking Drive, Anchorage between 8 am–4 pm, Monday through Friday. Exterior donation bins are available 24/7 for dry goods.

Can I donate money? What items do you accept?

Yes! Monetary donations help us provide more meals. Visit our donation page to give. For food donations, we accept non-perishable, unopened, and unexpired items.

How do I volunteer?

Volunteers are essential to our work! Sign up for a shift at our warehouse or an event by visiting our volunteer page.

How do I become a Food Bank of Alaska agency partner?

If your organization wants to distribute food, learn more about our partner program here and apply to join our network.

How can I start a food pantry and shop at Food Bank of Alaska?

Seniors aged 60+ who meet income guidelines can receive a Monthly Food Box for Seniors. Call our CSFP Programs Coordinator at 907-222-3115 for questions.
