How Benefits Work

After you apply and are approved, your voucher will be issued through the Healthy Together app.

The app is the preferred way to access and use your SFMNP benefit. When you shop with an authorized SFMNP vendor, you will show your QR code in the app. The vendor will scan your code and apply the purchase to your available balance.

Food Bank of Alaska does not have physical cards to hand out.

If you do not want to use the app, Food Bank of Alaska can print a sheet of paper with your QR card information. You can bring that printed sheet to authorized vendors instead.

You can use the benefit more than once until the $55 is gone. You do not have to spend it all at one time.

Unused benefits expire after October 31, 2026. Any remaining funds will not carry over.
