What is Anchorage Restaurant Week?

Anchorage Restaurant Week (ARW) is a week-long event where restaurants donate a portion of proceeds to anti-hunger work, through the Food Bank of Alaska.

Hunger is real and present in Alaska. 1 in 10 Alaskans are hungry, and this group includes children seniors, veterans, and families in every community across the state. The ARW Project invites diners to support Anchorage’s vibrant restaurant industry, while also shedding light on the stark reality of food insecurity for many in our community.

Who can participate?

ANY food vendor in Alaska who would like to provide delicious meals with a cause; restaurants, food trucks, pop-ups, caterers, etc. If you sell prepared foods, this event is for you!

Not a restaurant but want to sponsor this project?

How does it work?

  1. Restaurants sign up to participate
  2. Restaurants receive materials, marketing support, and staff training about ARW
  3. Diners eat at participating locations September 23-28, 2024
