Every can of soup, box of cereal, or garden vegetable you donate becomes a meal for a child, senior, or family who cannot rely on three healthy meals a day. Your contributions make a significant impact.
To ensure the food in your cupboard is safe to eat, visit The Food Marketing Institute’s FoodKeeper for an online database and mobile app. We accept food past its expiration date; our trained volunteers sort donations to ensure distribution of only healthy and safe items based on USDA standards.
Note: Food Bank of Alaska is not able to accept or distribute medications of any kind.
