The Warehouse Associate position will provide daily support to the warehouse operations department participating in order selection, receiving incoming freight, loading & unloading freight vans and company vehicles. Daily cleaning assignments, inventory counts, safe forklift & motorized jack operation. Provide quality and friendly service to agencies and vendors by following organizational standards. Upholding a predetermined quality-controlled standard of orders leaving the warehouse all while upholding safe practices in the workplace. The Warehouse Assistant reports directly to the Warehouse Manager for assignments.

Essential Job Duties:
- Ensure quality control.
- Order selection.
- Provide bypass & priority mail support as needed.
- Assist with the agency desk when needed.
- Ensure excellent customer service to agencies.
- Be prompt, friendly, welcoming and courteous always.
- Assist drivers with loading & unloading of new incoming or outgoing product.
- Provide inventory control, including cycle counts, rack tagging.
- Daily cleaning of shopping areas including cooler and freezer.
- Assist in maintaining good warehouse sanitation standards, repackaging room & bathrooms.
- Assist with major events including warehouse donor tours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Friendly, outgoing, dependable, consistent team player willing to help wherever it is needed.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Good basic math skills.
- Minimum one year computer experience in MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy warehouse environment with heavy foot traffic.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, hold and manipulate cans and boxes and bags not to exceed 50 lbs.
