The Food Bank of Alaska got a massive donation, and the first load of meals were delivered Thursday in Anchorage.
Over 95,000 pounds of food was brought to the Food Bank in Anchorage Thursday afternoon courtesy of ConocoPhillips. And this is just the first load!. There’s even more to come.
In all, Conoco will be donating nearly one million meals to help feed Alaskans in need.
ConocoPhillips says its food drive which made this donation possible is the largest food drive in the state, and one of the largest in the entire country.
