ConocoPhillips donates 75,000 pounds of food to the Food Bank of Alaska

ConocoPhillips Alaska employees are making a significant impact in the fight against hunger by donating 454,500 meals to Food Bank of Alaska. This annual employee-driven food drive continues to be the largest food drive in Alaska and one of the largest in the United States.

“This donation comes at a critical time,” said Cara Durr, CEO of Food Bank of Alaska. “The rising cost of food and distribution, paired with increased need, has made it more challenging than ever to meet the demand. The extraordinary generosity of ConocoPhillips Alaska employees—combined with this financial gift—ensures we can deliver nearly 455,000 meals to families statewide. We are deeply grateful for their continued commitment to fighting hunger in Alaska.”

The 454,500 meals includes a food donation of 75,000 meals and a matching financial gift from ConocoPhillips Alaska will help provide an additional 379,500 meals.

“Our employees are proud supporters of Food Bank of Alaska’s mission to nourish our friends and neighbors across the state,” said Erec Isaacson, President of ConocoPhillips Alaska. “Year after year, they step forward with unwavering enthusiasm to ensure this food drive makes a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work.”
