We believe that no one deserves to be hungry.

This September, join the fight to end hunger. Your power, voice, actions,
and commitment will ensure nobody has to make an impossible choice between
food and other necessities like medicine, utilities, or childcare.

Every action counts, and we have the choice to take action this Hunger Action Month. Here are just a few ideas for taking action this month:

RESTAURANT WEEK

Restaurant Week (Dine Out Against Hunger) is a one-of-a-kind fundraising event. It’s as simple as opening your doors and letting guests enjoy the delicious food you already serve. We will handle your advertising, publicity, and promotional items. This week-long event will take place from Sept. 19-23.

VOLUNTEER

When you volunteer at Food Bank of Alaska, your impact goes well beyond the immediate project. We are truly honored and humbled to work with so many wonderful and generous people committed to a hunger-free Alaska. We could not accomplish all that we do without the hours and talents provided by so many of you who care.

ADVOCATE

You can help us advocate for programs and policies that bring relief to individuals and families struggling to get by. Together we can impact public policy decisions and create positive change for those in our community who are hungry.

DONATE

Every $10 donated helps provide 30 meals to Alaskans in need throughout the state. We use the funds we’re given to buy food for local kids, families, and veterans.
